Hope i don't get my fingers wacked for this,,,but! Check out my build thread on ADVRiders, hack section. Loads of detailed images and such. If it' cool to do this it will save me reposting the whole mess here. I also put it up on my 'The Warkshop' page on facebook. Just sayin,,,,. 🙂

I found this thread very helpful http://advrider.com/forums/showpost.php?p=23269550&postcount=1
I especially benefited from the advice to buy a furniture dolly and magnetic level to attach to brake disk for adjusting lean out.

Glad you found the thread of interest. Note to others, the link just gets you 3 of the images,,,there are many more. If you go to Adventure Riders/Hacks/Bonneville American/Velorex you can access the full thread. I've also done one with a 1975 Harley FLH/Ural.

Bob you ever put a sidecar on a older Triumph? I am hoping with in the next year getting my 1971 T100C restoration done and thinking about a sidecar. My concern is it is a kicker and I have to be able to use it. Eddie was saying this could be a problem.
Thanks
Jeff

not with the custom fab of a professional install,,,remember, we sent a man to the moon,,,with time and money anything is possible. Seriously, i don't think it would be a terrible issue to overcome,,,but not at the keyboard.

My 67 T100 still had some factory sidecar mounting points on the frame. I never knew what those were for the longest time. Brendan

Here is my 71 T100C frame. It has been powdered coated semi gloss but dusty from sitting. Is this for a sidecar?

No kicker problems with a leftie mount sidecar, which is what they had.

Really do not want to go leftie but might be best. What would be a rig to look for and how easy to find a leftie in the US? What did most put on them back in the day? I would like it to be period correct as my plains are to restore it original or VERY close. It ill have the T100C up sweep pipes.
Thanks
Jeff
