I have just purchased a vetter terraplane that is missing the rear upper strut.
Is this something special?Or can I use link and hiems to replace it?

The Terraplane upper mount strut is basically a turnbuckle to adjust sidecar lean-out for tracking on crowned roads without dismounting.
An adjustable strut such as the one shown in the attached shot can be used instead.

Thanks lonnie
The mounts for the bike came from dauntless. But appear to be for a standard model gl1100 but mine is an interstate.
The rear mount looks like it will be a problem for the saddlebags and bars.Is there a differant mount for the interstate and aspys?Or do I need to get creative?
I would love to see pics of a rear terreplane mount on a 80-83 interstate or aspencade if anyone has any.
