Listers: I have recently purchased a 1994 MZ Silver Star Classic Grespann. It runs a Velorex 562 sidecar. I was wondering if anyone with this make and model sidecar has adapted a step for it. If so what did you do and pictures of it possibly. I have scoured the web and there doesn't seem to be any information available. The reason I am asking this is, I believe it would make it easier to enter the rig. Any help would be appreciated.

Regards Bertram

Thinks for posting. I'm running an old/customized Velorex on my Yamaha V-Star and notice some folks have a problem getting in. This looks like an easy fix.

some close up pics. The lower bracket is actually riveted to the bottom of the tube to keep it from rolling.

Recently I made a new frame for my Velorex, to replace my previous Ural-style frame that I bent accidentally by hitting a granite post with frame's step. I have built some strange step, that is rigid enough when you stay on it but will collapse when you hit something with it. It's made from 25xmm3 and 20x2mm flat bars, which are set vertically (step is 25mm high).
