I am loving my vulcan sidecar rig! Recently my steering damper broke and I want to replace it. I bought the rig already set up and I have no idea what kind to get. I have heard the vw is avialable at auto zone. I really don't want to change any of the set up as I am not technically or mechanically inclined. I just want to take the old one off and put on a new one. The current damper is made by BOGE and I can't seem to find any replacement online. Help please?
Get the VW one that has the same end fitting. The V Dub dampers are not all the same.

Take it off and take the damper to an auto parts store and they should be able to match it up.
This look like a rig we built many years ago. The damper is a VW beetle NOT a supper beetle damper. We of course stock these.
