sidecar tool kit
Eveyone has their own opinion of what should be included in an onboard tool kit.
We of the sidecar persuasion have an advantage over most bikers in that we not only have more room for tools
but they become welcome ballast for many rigs. Along with a multi meter and feeler gauges and things not carried by many two wheelers, I carry a crescent hammer, (of my own design), and a jump start battery. The jump starter is quite small as seen alongside my hand, but it could save you or another rider an expensive call for help out on the road.
The crescent hammer is a piece of bronze shaft with a slot milled into it then slipped onto the wrench handle and silverbrazed. Very effective with impact wrench as well as other forcefull duties.
Why does it have to be such a fight to get this site to accept a picture posting?
