Need a new shock absorber on my Champion Escort.  Anyone know which shock I need?  It’s a Progressive brand but that all the info I can read. Escort is a 2011 if it matters. Thanks.

I am also searching for a new one. Mine sprung a leak Sunday and now is a pogo stick!

Removed it a few minutes ago and here is what I have, it is 12 1/2 inches long, roughly 318mm, it has an eye top and bottom, inside measure is 15mm. I cannot find a shock with coilover that has that large eye, everything I find is only 10mm diameer. Hope this helps you search, please advise if you find anything close

Bob, I was about to call Progressive right before I found a person on Facebook that had to purchase two for his Escort and bought his extra just a few minutes ago. This is a picture of his ad and the model number is shown. It looks a bit different with the lower chrome piece.  The model is 412-4218c.  It has a heavier spring rating (a good thing for me) so you may be able to specify which spring you want if you order from Progressive.  I should have it in a few days. If there’s a problem I’ll let you know.  You might want to check out the 412 series on the Progressive website in the meantime.

I just logged back in to advise Champion has these in stock. $182.00 I looked all day for an alternative with very little luck so I bit the rotten lemon and ordered one.

I think that’s an excellent price for a single shock.  And you know it will fit. Worth it.
