Comms Helmet to no helmet?

Hello Everybody, 

I took my wonderful wife out for a 1st ride today in the Coupe Royale. All went very well. But I noticed very quickly the lack of communications. We both have old Sena SMH5 units in our helmets which have served just fine, but not as good as wired i.e. no batteries and always connects 🙂

I see the Sena sells a “Expand Boom” which is for use without a helmet of any kind. It says will connect to any bluetooth.

Anyone with experience with this system? It seems they should play together since both sport bluetooth 3.0.
