I have no problem with getting the sidecar level and the disk brake rotor 90' to the ground and the bike stright up and down, Problem is the manuals all say a 3/4 inch - 19mm toe in from front measurement to rear measurment. The diagrams do not show length of the stright edge or if it is centered on the bike wheels, I hope some one has an answer or can lead me to one, thanks

Place a straightedge on blocks and tightly against the rear tire of the bike and another on blocks tightly against the sidecar tire.
Measure toe-in from directly in front of the front wheel to directly in back of the rear wheel.

i was told you could use an 8 foot florsent tube to act as a stright edge. wheel base is just under 8 feet and the sidecar wheel sits foward of the rear wheel on the bike, the manuals show diagrams but not data or mesuments. I had the frame on the bike and used a log for weight and went ok, stright and left turns seemed ok, but the right turn was a killer, will trudge on, thanks

I believe the overall length of your bike is around 8' but the wheelbase is somewhat shorter.
I use two lengths of 1"x1"x .120" wall square tubing 10' long for my straight edge gauges.
That handles everything from scooters to stretched choppers.

I use something similar 1x2x.120, aluminum box tube, stays straight, give a place tape measure can hook onto, square edge for reference. I set my Ultra about straight up, with about 3/4" toe in. Handled straight, from 40-65+ seemed the sidecar tire looked a little scuffed so I toed it out a turn, didn't want to weat tire out too fast. Left turns and straight seem fine. Seems a little light on right turn. Got some lead race car weights gonna try to mount on spring perch. Just need to borrow a drill press so the go straight. Next weekends project.

I used a 2 ft lazer level aginst the rear bike wheel 3 or 4 inches off the floor....made a mark on the floor in front and rear...then on the car wheel front and rear...then ck with a tape and adjust...

I used 2 piece of 10" Aluminum Drip Edge from the hardware store for a straight edge. Worked fine and was cheap.
