Set up question, kz1000/Velorex 700
I am attempting to attach a Velorex 700 to my 1981 KZ1000. I have never done this before so bare(bear?) with me while I ask a newbie question. I have my mount locations fairly well worked out but there is no way that I can see to get the upper, rear strut to angle rearward as the instruction say. It works out to be parallel to the forward, upper strut which is angled forward. How important is it to have the upper struts angling away from each other? If Anyone has ever done this particular combination, I would appreciate any and all advice.
Thanks,
Robert
Don't worry about having the upprer struts opposed of each other. It is not possible with most of the Japanese cruisers as they have very short lower frames. Just get the best triangulate the best you can being sure to leave at least 2" of clevis bolt threads inside of the struts.
