Hello. I'm sorry to say that there really is no part number for that HD right saddlebag kit. It's part of the connection kit (971266-99A (1999 to 2004 bikes; 99166-97B for 2005 and later) I received mine along with my new sidecar in the crate last January when it was delivered to the dealer. It was packed in with the connection kit with the mounts, brake conversion parts and other necessary items.

I wanted an Ultra sidecar lower fairing for my Ultra even though I have the regular TLE sidecar. There is no part number for that part, either. I found a new, unpainted one on eBay and paint-matched it to my bike (vivid black with stripes)

I don't know what HD is thinking to make parts with no part numbers. Your best bet is to find one on eBay unless your dealer is friendly with the main MOCO so that they could order one somehow over the telephone. That's probably going to be very difficult, however.

Another way might be to start calling dealers to see if they have an extra kit that was not used. Not all bike owners have saddlebags.

Good luck.

i dont have access to my invoices - but my parts guy DID find a part number for that saddle bag latch and DID find a part number for the fairing lower both the lower part and the upper part.

the lowers were in the painted parts section

and the latch was in maintenence & repair parts

you need a really GOOD parts man - not some kid who just wants to go home at 3pm

I've already been to two dealers and been told that there are no part numbers for them.

If you ever find those part numbers, I'd appreciate it if you would post them here. Nether the saddlebag lid hinge kit, nor the ultra lower fairing show up in the 2004 Touring Parts Manual.

The saddlebag kit came with installation instructions in the sidecar crate but no part number. It's also shown in the sidecar book for 2006 with instructios but again, no part number.

The part number for the RH Saddlebag latch is 90670-93. I ordered mine from www.surdyke.com and it was 20% off Harley list price.

That's nice to hear. I'll add it to my notes. It doesn't show up anywhere in my information. Well, let me re-phrase that. Once I had the numbr I was able to locate a note in the parts list. The part isn't illustrated but the number actually is listed. Unless you already had the number, it would be hard to find.

Just for fun, I took the P/N and checked prices at three locations.

www.speedsupplies.com shows it as $118.75 retail and their special discounted price of $109.84. Some deal, huh?

Surdyke shows the saddlebag changeover kit at $76.00.

Zanottis www.zanottimotor.com shows it at $61.78.

It's certainly amazing how much money you can save when you let your fingers do the walking.

Thanks for the part number.
