Hi, Has anybody heard of a sidecar mounted on a Ridley? I asked the factory and the young lady told me that you would RUIN the bike! Thanks in advance, Les in NJ

Any MFG'r. who doesn't furnish a sidecar will say they will "ruin" the bike or at least affect the warranty.
The Ridley will accept a lightweight car just as a scooter will. The only problem may be that some fabrication may be necessary to accomplish the attachment. We've mounted cars on CB350 Honda's, 250cc Helix's, 250cc Reflex's, 400 Burgman's.
If a 150 scooter can support a hack a Ridley can.
A lighter car such as a 562 Velorex or Cozy would be good candidates.

What's a Ridley? Some kind of scooter?

I have heard of Ridley bicycles, they are made in Belgium.

I'd think you could put a sidecar on any two wheeler, though a sidecar on a Segway would look pretty weird!!

Thanks for the link! I see they offer a trike. And they say a sidecar would ruin it?! Sheesh!
