I'm planning to replace my Dunlop D404's (bias-ply, I'm pretty sure) this fall or winter. I'd like to go with car tires as my bike is a dedicated hack hauler now. The only option I ever found for putting a CT on an 1100 was to have a custom rim made, which is rather pricy!
Would the greater "squich factor" of radials and thus a larger tire patch, be a good compromize for my bike?
