quick disconnect...?

Hey there...after taking the evergreen safety council course back in July
and getting a few more miles on my new outfit both riding and flying I'm still pondering on the quick disconnect that was supposed to be installed on the brake line of my car. The granddaughter, after I basically scared her from riding in the car anymore still doesn't want anything to do with riding in the car...so that leads me to looking into still installing the quick disconnect in brake line. I'm aware of having to bleed brakes but when possible it sure would be nice to ride the wife on the back no wart attached and going for a old 2 up ride again...is this something I can install myself and if so where would a person find 1 is this strictly a purchase from a MC dealer or could these be found at maybe a farm implement store or what...? Any or all ideas needed...Thanks!!!

Your local tractor or Hyd retailer should have a disconnect, you know that's there's one heck of a lot more involved in separating the car from the bike, one thing you'll need is a way to slide the car sideways and a way to hold the bike in a upright position while doing it, and then there's the electrics.

Harbor Freight has inexpensive moving dollys with 4 swiveling casters.
for the wiring quick connectors are readily available from Auto Supply stores, trailer supply shops and others.

Thanks for the replies...unhooking rig wont be a problem I have a dolly for car mounting brackets to sit on...wiring is also a easy disconnect. My outfit is all Harley and Harley doesn't make a quick disconnect for brakeline I'm thinking this may be an after market from drag specialty or something as the mech. that was suppose to originally hook me up says he can still install 1 while I wait, the problem is it's a 5hr round trip to have done.So I'm thinking if it can be done while I wait how hard is installing 1 myself that's why I was asking about finding part at possibly a farm implement store...?

I took both brake lines to a store that sold hydraulics and had them add the quick connects to the ends and then screwed the brake lines back on to the sidecar and bike. They have worked fine and I have never had to bleed the lines after disconnect them.
