Well, I was putting away the rig for the season yesterday, and realized that the top front mount had disconnected itself from the bike's frame, and half of the mount is missing. Obviously, I'm glad that no one got hurt - not sure when it happened, but I suspect it was the last time I'd ridden it.

Now, I wonder how I get a new mount! It's a 1974 velorex jawa sidecar, but the mounts don't match what I've seen online, probably an aftermarket mount. Can anyone help me find a replacement? Fortunately, I have the rest of the winter to find it.

It was a block of steel, 2 holes for allen bolts (yes, they were in there tight...I thought...one hole in the center of the block for the frame tube, and it was split so it could fit over the tube. The allen bolts and the back half fell off. I still have the front half, attached to the sidecar brace.

I can take some pictures and post them later.

This is a fabricated mount, not a Velorex part.
