I am looking to see if they make an LED bulb that fits and works into the OEM bulbs without having to replace the whole lighting units. I have a 1996 Harley Ultra Classic. I like the looks of the original lights but they are just not bright enough.

Ae you talking about headlights, or which?  Brake, front turn, rear turn, sidecar?

Have owned 5 rigs but Rig #2 is my current one!

The problem with doing turn signals is you need a relay also to prevent the LED light from flashing rapidly (hyperflash).

I did a changeover on my 84 BMW RT and got these:

This one will replace a 1157 dual filament (brake, parking light)

This will do a turn signal but you probably need a relay.  Go to a Harley forum to see what they are doing for those.

Here's the relay but it's a four pin. Not sure what HD was using so check before ordering.

Headlights are actually the easy ones.  Check your current bulb then look for a LED replacement on Bezos Bucks (Amazon).

Dennis,  you can also  contact  Lewis  at Electrical Connection  in Tennessee.  Google  for  their  website.  Most likely  you will find  what you want  with  them,  and Lewis,  the  owner,  is quite  knowledgeable.

As a backup,  look up Eastern Beaver, a supplier  in Asia (Vietnam  I believe) as he has proprietary  connections,  wiring,  etc for  every  brand/model.
