Newbie to sidecars needs help
I have a 2001 Roadstar with a Champion Daytoa 2&2 side car, The car come off a 1999 Roadstar so I figures it would be easy to set up.I must have done something really bad 'cause it pulls like a bandit to the left. How do I correct this? The car has the electric tilt system but is is not hooked up yet.One more Question does anyone know of a shop within a reasonable distance from Fort Pierce Fl? Any help will be much appreciated Bill

Bill,
I do not know anyone real close to you everyone is either north or south of you. There are some books on here at http://www.sidecar.com/links3.asp that will help. feel free to e-mail me I know some guys in the Miami that are always looking for a reason to ride and I maybe able to help you out.
Sounds like you have to much toe in on it. If you would like to phone me I will talk you through set up. I also may have the instructions from Champion for this set up.

Too much toe in. You should be able to measure using two straight rails, boards, pipes (whatever) afixed securely on each side of the rig. Measure front then back at the specified locations for your combo and note the toe-in. Compare that delta to the specifications for your combo.
If using 2 straight edges to align for toe-in, just apply them against the rear wheel of the bike and the sidecar wheel. Most bikes have a different sized smaller diameter front wheel. The rear wheel determines which direction the bike will go with neutral steering. Measurements can be made directly below the axles of the bike. Some of the double wides will need an inch of toe-in. Most singles 3/4" or less.
