I have purchased a Champion Escort and will be mounting on a 09 Road Glide, I have ordered the specific
bike mounts for my model but the bike had a big shock type that is to hook to the front forks to take out vibration
does any one have a picture that show how that mount as the bracket that came with it does not match any
bolt pattern to attach it to front forks
Thanks ahead of time
Chuck 🙂

It sounds like the "shock" is actually a steering damper. Champion makes mounts for that as well, on my '03 softtail the fork mount was a clamp affair around the right fork tube. The rear mount goes on the bolts clamping the front lower sidecar mount. I've got a Champion Legend sidecar. I put raked triple trees on my bike so I don't use the damper anymore.

How about trying Champion Tech support? Your vendor should have this information available. Perhaps you got a damper bracket for a different model Harley. Some dampers attach to the engine guard if so equipped.

Champion maintains a website that has installation instructions, wiring diagrams, and other info on it. They are very helpful with questions. Search Bing or Google for Champion Sidecar or Champion Trikes.

I did go to the Champion wed site and the newest instructions are for a fl is 2003
I have a 2009 which is the new frame for HD in the touring
I concacted Champion a guy also named Miller and he could not answer only
we can sell you the complete unit but not the part that fits to the front end
and he had no pictures to email me. It like they want to get out of the side car business
I was told 2 weeks for the motorcycle brackets check Wednesday was told 4 week
it would take because they had a big order to go overseas.
Not very happy with their customer service

Like CSC they are going out of the sidecar business. A lot more money can be made by ripping off those who wish to trash their bikes by adding a trike kit.
