Hi Guys, I broke one of my red lenses for my california sidecar friendship one . I know finding a lense new is next to imposible. Anybody got a round red lense for the early friendship ? I always dreaded having one of these break then it happened at Lacnia this weak...
no I don't ,...but take a look at your local truck stop,..while having dinner on the road last month, I noticed that some of the truckers marker light lenses on sale looked very simular to those on my CF1 chair,.., but they were in the cheap to sell basket???? just a thought,..if they used them, they must have been a common unit when fab'd,..good luck, crawf.
I've been looking on used tractor trailer sites already with no luck.. We'll see, maybe I'll get lucky....
You pretty much have to change lights. These lights were made by peterson but have not been made in about 20 years. Most that you find at truck stops are 2 inch or 4 inch. Yours are considered 3 inch.

Jay, that's what I was afraid of. I'm searching tractor trailer collector sites now. If that doesn't work than I'm going to either change the size lights or make a blocker plate for the inner red light. we'll see...
check the old 78-81 Vetter bags and trunk from Suzuki GS and Goldwings,..the round lenses seem the same in classifieds might work???? cheers crawf.
