Linear actuator - rebuild info needed

I have a 1993 BMW K1100LT with a Hannigian Sport. The E.C.C. (linear actuator) does not work. Wiring ok. An online search finds similar actuators but without the welded on mounts. Which tells me getting mine repaired/rebuilt/overhauled would be the best route to take.
Can any one point me towards a person/shop/business that does that sort of work?
Or should I replace it with a solid strut.

Thanks in advance for any and all comments.

Have you called Hannigan about a replacement? Their prices aren't unrealistic on most of their parts. A rebuild [if possible] might not be less expensive than a replacement.

Yes I plan on contacting them - gathering up as much info as possible before proceeding.

Often the actuator will have a specification plate/tag on it specifying the stroke length, strength (dynamic and static) and speed. With those specs, you may be able to source an actuator on the open market.

Does anyone have a picture of their swing arm with shock & actuator installed with the wheel off? Having a bit of a struggle getting things to line up.
As allways thanks in advance.
