Well, I am pretty much done with the 1979 Goldwing ( http://xadd.org) and I am going to start hooking up the Friendship I sidecar back to it. I haven't really changed anything, when it comes to adjusting the sidecar when I took it off. If I get the mounting points all back in the same place. I would suspect that adjustment would be minimal?

Does anyone still have an old Friendship I they are using? Other than checking the wheel bearings, anything else I should look for?

Check the torsion straps and see if any are broken. They're the same spring stock used on early VW beetle front ends.
Check swing-arm bushing for wear.
If it ran true when you took the boat off it will be the same unless you changed length or position on any of the mounting bracketry.
