Newby here, picked up a used Suzuki Savage and Cozy car about a month ago. About have the relationship between the car and tug correct, but find I cannot move the diagonal strut to increase lean out and not sure how to deal with the swans neck for lack of a better term that goes to the front down tube. To me it looks like I have to R & R it and transfer large washers from outside to the the car side as well as increase the diagonal strut length. Previous Owner (PO) used it mostly solo and had a large battery in the trunk of the car for the bike and 100 Watt driving light. I've removed that and reinstalled the air box, battery box with a new AGM battery, and seats. We will use it together as I get to keep my other Savage bagger so would like it to run right with passenger. As a point of reference we drove my S-i-L's HD Road King w/California car to and from Montana from Eastern WA for the FSSNOC Thumper lunch and when I figured out the electric trim on that I know how one should drive. Straight down the road at 65 no pull. Realize this rig will be a compromise above and below best about 50-55. Has any one had the tree trail reduced to ease the steering effort on this kind of rig. Have read and reread the COZY instructions and older printed material online here. KLR demo reference Video says to load the bike but not the car and secure it and proceed from there. Why not the car. Also 3/4" toe seems like a lot, a real lot, to an old Auto Mechanic especially when measured so close to the front of the tires. So may questions. Plan to separate the units this weekend to replace both side cover gaskets to stop the oil drips and will free up the sliding adjusters then. Thanks Max

The Cozy's come with different fittings so a picture or two would help here.
Side Effects in Kamloops, BC can alter your triple trees for reduced trail.
1/4" is plenty of toe-in.
For tracking lean-out, load both the bike and car to where it is usually used.
