Long story short: my dad has been riding 30+ years and only knows how to drive motorcycles, he's hetting old and his legs are getting tired so iI decided to buy him a sidecar. Bought a velorex 562 only to find that mounnting to his 03 shadow 750 frame is less than optimal,very short bottom frame. Anyone have a similar setup or any good ideas on mounting? Pics would be excexcellent. Thanks
We do offer bike specific mounts for this bike as well as triple tree's to lower the steering effort with a sidecar.
Our front lower mount ties to both sides of the front of the frame of the bike. Our lower rear mount is a sub frame that moves the lower rear aft of the frame of the bike and keeps the mount about the same height off of the ground as the front lower mount which makes setting alignment much easier. The upper front is a frame clamp similar to the Velorex but of a much higher quality. The upper rear picks up the upper rear shock mount as well as mounts to the frame behind the shock.
