HI, Im new here on this fourm,
My Vetter Terraplane trim grip Heim joints are shot resulting in a really sloppy attachment. Jay at DMC has the lower Heim joints.
Where can I get replacement Heim joints for the Trimgrip (upper rear mount). If I cant rebuild the trim grip I will have to go to a 4point attachment system. Does anyone know the thread size of the trimgrip?
I'm betting that i am not the only one who has experienced this problem. I knew this would be the place to ask such a question. I have a bunch more questions, however I've learned not to ask too many at one time.
Thanks

There is a groop at Yahoo groups dedicated just to the Vetter sidecar. You might ask there.
We have all of the NOS vetter mounting hardware but nothing for the trim grip and I have not had a vetter with a trim grip in the shop for about 10 years and as I have not had to rebuild one, I can not answer your question. If you do find out what size the heim joint is, chances are we have it in stock.

That doesnt look anything like the one I had on my Terreplane. Very crude. I suspect the original was lost or damged somehow.
