I am rebuilding a 1995 Harley TLE sidecar. It has an electric reverse on it that I understand was put on as an option in the mid 90's. It has a starter motor that drives a flywheel mounted to the sidecare hub. I don't have a schematic and am wondering if anyone out there might have some information about this setup. i.e. literature, schematic or similar. Any information would be appreciated. The two dealers I have gone to in southwest Florida have nothing. Thanks for you help.

This option didn't work well or last long so it was soon dropped from the Harley parts lineup.

There was a Harley sidecar for sale in Michigan on ebay a couple of months ago with the electric reverse on it. Its about the only one I can remember seeing with that unit on it. I think the only way you're going to find out anything is from someone who owns one of the reverse units and still has their installation paperwork. Unfortunately I can't find that ad now searching on ebay or google. I think he had it listed on craigslist too but not sure how you would find an old ad. Have you tried contacting the factory directly? I haven't done it myself but maybe in their archives they could come up with the information you are looking for. Good luck, Dave
