I too have a 2003 Classic with TriGlide triple trees and 2" fork spacers. Its the only way to go for a HD. Sell the take off parts on Ebay.

How much do you have in doing this not counting time to instal?

450 or so in trees from Chicago Harley (10% off mail order stuff) and then time to install. If you paid for it, might be 250 or so, i think that would be fair. Anyone have another guess?

Harley does not make any extensions on the triglide the tubes are longer. You can get the whole set up with more trail raked tree for under $700 shipped.

I did the TriGlide trees. I did not do extensions or the longer legs. I lowered the rear to match. There was a post here several months ago where the guy showed how to use spacers for extensions so there are two ways to get the full length if you prefer that. Find the old post, it lays out the costs. You need the lower tree with stem (it includes the lower bearing but not the outer race, the upper tree, the chrome skirt right below the fairing, and I bought a new aftermarket front brake line because the stock part would not fit without severely bending the steel line portion. My only disappointment was the lack of info about this procedure in the Harley Repair manual. I used the line drawings in the parts manual more than the content of the repair manual to do the job.
I was going to take pictures of the procedure and post them in an album, but problems with lighting and my camera made that impossible. I will say for me this was a winter job and was a pain. Now when the weather changes I'll see how the steering feels.

The first post I saw about the TriGlide trees was on 9/6/2012 by OLDRIDERS. He lays out the parts required and the prices. The dealer mentioned was who I used.
