Picked up an Old Cali F1 to hang on the wifeys 1996 3rd Gen Honda Magna as she is disabled enough from a motorcycle accdent a few years ago to stay up on 2 wheels anymore..... Jay at Dauntless was nice enough to help me look for the problem area's on the Early California F1 car itself, he has no mounting kits for the late model Magna..... Any links or pics on mounting a car to a late Magna? I have no probs modding the F1 frame,just do not want to cut or weld on the Bike frame itself...any tips or pointers on mounting would be apreciated....I hate to spend $500. on a Universal mount kit and use only 1/4 of it in the end..... thanks! 🙂
I have a plan, great site to research......converting old tulip lowers to Heims with new updated bosses, and building a sub frame from 1 1/2 .120 Square tube.... Exhaust runs dead even with lower frame rails and no way to use pinch mounts, these bikes sit high so ground clearance should be ok even with an 1 1/2" sub hanging underneath, it will tie into the opposite side of the frame,will look like a box and i will weld right to the lower frame rails.......I will be getting all my needed hardware from Dauntless...will see how much tomorrow from Jay...
