Hello all,
I am new to this site and sidecars. I have been developing a strong interest in them over the past couple years. I am wondering what models would be a good fit for my 1977 Honda CB550F...?? And, if any, modifications or frame problems might exist to mount one.?
Thanks in advance...

I've had a Dnepr sidecar mounted on everything from an 850 Yamaha to a Valkyrie. It originally came off a 40 HP 650cc bike. You won't win any races, but they're cheap and sturdy as a tank. Same goes for a Ural or Sputnik, not always pretty but a great place to start and big enough to move to a bigger bike when you're ready.

We make a mounting set for the CB550, (same as the CB750) Our Kenna would work well on this bike.

A new or used Velorex 562 is very compatable, mounts easily, fits well appearance wise, won't need a steering damper and used units are fairly plentiful. 20" wide seat is one of the most comfortable in the industry although sidecar entry may be limited for a very large or handicapped passenger.
