Picked up LSQUID and there is a definite improvement in acceleration and performance at freeway speed. No idea how it affects fuel mileage on a long trip as that is next move. Around town it seems to be improved but that may be wishful thinking on my part.

I did find out a few things that others may want to consider. Changing the final drive gear from 32 to 21 was really the easy part. Once apart, we discovered that the original belt was not going to adjust to proper tension due to wear so the belt had to be replaced. On a bagger HD this is not an easy task. Pull swingarm, suspend motor and tranny, another 4-5 hours of labor and so on. It effectively doubled the cost of doing gear change but once it was apart it was either restore to original pieces or continue with the modification. I got some serious sideways looks from my house manager but she did not refuse a ride either. I did not mention to her that I would like a new bike for riding solo as it did not seem the proper moment.

Speedometer error was not bad GPS vs speedo was about 3mph at 70. I can live with that as it may prevent a chat with an officer of the law someday.

I changed both transmission and rear sprockets 0n '07 E'glide 32-30 front 66-70 rear same belt. about 18% difference or now I have a 5 speed with a low gear. I am doing 60 when the speedometer says 70 and runs at 2500 rpm. I am looking for a 31 tooth for the trans sprocket.
