i have an old hitch hiker side car and i would like to retrofit an electric lean. i would like to know if some manufacturer will sell just the linear actuator and shock and spring. if some one knows the size of the actuator and the spring rate to use that would be good also. i'm a machinist and can make the necessary hardware to fit it to the rig. i have all ready replaced the wheel and hub assembly with a disk brake and separate master and pedal. i know that this one came with an air shock and i have replaced it with another air shock but as you all know air does funny things when it gets hot or cold. i would like to go with something more consistent. thanks for any help that you can offer.

There are lots of vendors for linear activators (screw jacks) on the net.

You could try getting in touch with the folks at Hannigan Motorsports. They offer an option on their sidecars that they call electric camber control - I have it on my Astro GT sidecar. It raises and lowers the sidecar to compensate for road camber and sidecar loading.

I got the one that is on my Velorex from Hannigan. It took some mods to the fraim but i love it.
