I won't have the rig off the boat for another 8 days, but looking for comments/suggestions on alignment.
I understand that more seat time will help on this, but I fear it won'd be quite enough.
Although the rig tracks fine (albeit with a slight pull to starboard) at speed, I have a low speed wobble, 15-25 mph, which is worse when the rig is empty than when it's loaded with two passengers and gear.
I'd live with it, except our speed limits here are 15-25! 🙁
I'd like to avoid adding a steering damper.
I'm planning on checking the sidecar wheel balance, as well as adding a fork brace, regardless.
With the data point of the wobble being worse unladen, my thoughts are if I decrease tire pressue on the sidecar, that will allow the toe-in adjustment to 'bite' more at a slower speed (wobble being caused by the toe-in 'arguing' with the drag of the car).

Michael, you seem to run with original stearing tree that gives a longer lever on the front wheel and more wobble.
3 things:
check the head bearings for nests. If worn get rid of them fast.
If in good shape. tighten the bearings and see if the wooble becomes less.
With a steering tree that shortens the distance between steering head line hitting the ground and the tires ground contact to lets say 60-80mm you the low speed wooble might not disappear completely, but it will not whack out your wrists. In the Ural it is still there but much less hard then with the Jawa.
In case that wooble is too annoing still afterwards you will have to do some kind of dampener. In my opinion a friction dampener is not too bad and can be hidden quite welll.

Wobble. I just hate it when it does that. My last five rigs have had hydraulic dampers. With the dampers I use, I can let go the bars at any speed and The only thing bad that happens is sometimes a passenger who also drives a rig screams. I made my own attachments. The collar on the fork and the universal on the frame. At the fork end it is fastened by a heim joint.

I've found that mounting the damper higher on the front end of the bike above the slider will eliminate the "bump steer" phenomenon.
Decreasing trail will usually eliminate the need of a damper.

I've already had modified trees fitted. The wobble isn't a killer, maybe 4" of total travel at a rate of 3-4 Hz. Considering just how wide and heavy the rig is, and in spite of that I've eaten my way up five pounds from the Lightweight into the Super-Lightweight class (even with the tub empty, the port side peg hits before the balance point is close to being reached), it makes sense that it's there.

I would have anticipated more like 100-150 answers, all of which will be right for the referenced application, just maybe not for ours! 🙂 I was hoping to get the rig today, but a typo on the printed shipping schedule means I'm going to have to wait another 10 days before I see it. So hot to get it, I've already give Customs a cheque for the duty!
Wellcome in the club, I gave my customs agent the money in cash early December, when it appeared that all spares were in danger to get kind of confiscated (declared as abandoned) as the shipper declared a motorcycle, but not the spares...Wait till 9 January.
