Hello,

I have a CB750 with a Spirit Eagle sidecar. I am not happy with the cheesy
eye type strap mounts on this set-up that connect to the frame. Although
they have mated for over 30 years, they still look weak to me.

I am looking at the kit offered by Dauntless Motors:

DMC-HCB750 Honda CB550/CB750 Mount Set

They don't have pictures of these components online and I'm wondering
if anyone here might have a picture or two they could post and also
any first hand reviews on the kit.

They seem kind of pricey, but it might be because they are worth that
much. I just want to be sure they are worth that kind of coin.

Thank you,

Gary

Thanks Tom, but I already have a sidecar. It is a 35+ year old Spirit Eagle that has been mated to my CB750 for over 30 years. I am reconditioning the whole rig together. Pretty sure that Kenna would be a bit big for my little 750 anywho.. Looks like a neat sidecar though.

I'm about 200 miles south of you in Charles Town, WV.

Yeah, really want to change out those clamps, but trying to get over the sticker shock of the alternatives I've seen so far. πŸ™‚

A whole lot. Trying to justify what a bent piece of steel and a bolt is worth
is where I am having a tad bit of trouble... πŸ˜‰
