i seem to have a slow leak and decided that i could check out the tube thinking my vast experience with changing bicycle tires.... wrong...... is there any easier way to take the tube off the rim without pinching the hell out of the tube. seems like screwdrivers wont budge the tire off the rim... thanks .. dan

go to any bike shop and purchase 3 good long tire irons with smooth round ends.

On some of the tougher wheels with rim locks, I've driven over the uninflated tire with my pickup to break the bead.
Primitive, but it works.
To keep from pinching when installing have some air in the tube.
