What year were the trunk hinges moved to the top?
The very early sidecars had external trunk hinges, latter ones had hidden internal hinges at the top. Only the first year or two of production had the hinges on the bottom. These really early sidecars also had the TILT actuators in the trunk rather then the wheel well.

Jay, what years was that?
Sorry, I do not remember off hand, I can ask my general manger who designed the body however we have been without power at the shop for 2 days and will be with out power until Friday some time so it will be next week before I see him.
