car tire??

so is there a debate over the car tire conversion, i just mounted a hannagin conti classic to my v strom 1000,, got sum advice on a rear car tire swap, 205 55 17 my rim is 5.5 seen pics it fits.. good idea bad idea i am against this on standered bike. but it seems like on a hack it should add a little stability? what about a tire for the front that is more hack friendly also?any thoughts on this marc in alabama

A car tire will last alot longer than a cycle tire. The rear tire is what is important.

You should be fine. I run the same tire, a General and it's recommended for a rim that's 5.5" to 7.5".

any recomendation on a front tire what pressure for front back and hack??

I run 38 on the rear tire and 38 on the front tire(retro MC tire). Seems to be OK
