Cable actuated sidecar brake......

I have an '83 GL1100 with an early 70's Ural hack and last year I bought most of the parts to set up the sidecar brake after running it for 6 or 7 years without a brake. I am not much of a fabricator and really don't like the setup I built for it to work. Now I have figured out a way to use a cable to actuate the drum brake and a way to install a pedal, etc. etc.
My question is to those of you who have set up cable brakes. I need to find a source for heavy duty cable, perhaps like those used for emergency brakes on cars.....or just any good source for cables....I do know of Flanders and if it comes to it I will have them make one up, but it seems to me like there must be another source, not necessarily for motorcycles.
Thanks in advance,
Brian

A car's handbreak cable or a industrial supplier should work. I have here people who make them at your indication.
Important is to route the cable so that the oscilation of the SC -swing doesn't pull your brake. I had it in the beginning (installation by importer) breaking in left bends And in costarican mountain roads that rises adrenaline very high!!!!!!!!!!
