I am building my second rig for my aunt and need some info. I just picked up a Ridley(automatic) bike and I will be making the sidecar frame to mount a old German sidecar body to. The bike is all HD but the motor/drivetrain. I would like to know what my options are to help make steering eazyer for her and what car tire is anyone using on the rear(stock HD 16" rim).

You might try a Coker Firestone 500x16. They're fairly narrow and that's what early H-Ds used.
