Been thinking of buiding a sidecar for my 82 honda cm450c,
started today to look for information on the web.
found this site right of the bat, seen a lot of good pictures to get ideas from, one thing i could not get is a clear understanding of, is how the wheel & axel are mounted on the sidecar frame.
i am getting to old to handle the bike alone, so i figure a sidecar will let me handle it.
any advice would be a great help to me. thanks

Most are attached with a trailing link swing-arm suspension system using a cycle type coil over shock absorber.
Download the sidecar books on this site and there is a lot more information on sidecar chassis.

This might help give you some ideas.

Make sure to view it at full size otherwise its hard to read.
