Hey Lonnie-
I hope you're unaffected by the fire. Heard this morning it's burned quite a few houses but Boise is a big place. Most likely some distance from you?

It was about ten miles east of us in the other edge of Boise. Where they build large on the sagebrush filled hillsides where cattle used to roam before the "Californication" of the Treasure Valley.

Roswell isn't listed on the current Official Idaho Highway map. What incorporated town is it near?

Good to hear that it's not in your back yard. Don't know how this got in Technical Discussion. I intended for it in General Discussion. Oh well. Sounds like it's about as far from you as the Swanson Lake fire is from us. It's nearly at an end now. We got the smoke for a few days and we know people who live a whole lot closer to the flames than we do and they were certainly threatened by the fire for a week or more. Watching the video of the Boise fire on the news, it looks a lot like the Dishman Hills fire in Spokane about a month ago. Maybe snowed in last winter wasn't so bad after all....

'bout two miles outside of Parma. Hadn't realized you were near there, or I'd have stopped in to say hello when down there a couple weeks ago.
Just a crossroads in the middle of the onion fields and hop fields, really...
