Hi there, I bought a Velorex 700 sidecar, and im trying to attach or connect the sidecar to the motorcycle, but Im having kind of a problem with this, Im unable to connect the rear section to the bike, does anyone has this kind of set up?

Can someone post some pictures to duplicate the attachments here in my country ?

Thanks, any new ideas are more than welcome!

The basic frame of the r65 is the same as all the other bmw airheads from the early 70's to 1995.

The only major changes were in the location of the sidestand and other tabs and the swing arm. There are a number of photos in the photo section of this website that will give you some ideas. I would consider some type of subframe rather then using the velorex universal mounts. Sounds like it should make a nice rig when your through.

first. and most important, of all make sure you are using a subframe on the bike. the regular bike frame is not strong enough for SC mounting.especially the rear portion of the bike frame.

El Bujo,
Send me an e-mail and I will give you photos of a subframe you can have fabricated there.
