Does anyone have photos of a R60/2 typical sidecar mounting or a manual with diagrams or photos? I am interested in the connection to the bike. I know BMW provided some fittings on the frame but have never actually seen a R60/2 with a car close up or with this interest in building a sidecar.

Dnepr and Urals are not really BMW clones and at any rate were based on a much earlier model than the /2. Their mounts are not the same as the /2 BMW and won't be much help to you.
The /2 bottom front motor mount was replaced by a long bolt with a mounting ball on one end. The /2 frame has the bottom rear mount ball permanently attached to the rear frame loop and there are lugs for the strut eyes to bolt to, providing mounts for the two top struts. Don't forget to adjust the front forks to the sidecar position while you are at it.
You should be able to get a manual for it from a vintage BMW shop, succh as Blue Moon. My Clymer does not seem to have the sidecar stuff in it, so you pobably want the original owners manual. If you can't find one email me and I will scan the sidecar instructions for you when I have time.
