I have to replace my front tire on my Shadow 1100T, it's a 130/80-18, the OEM Dunlop 204 is the tire recommended for this bike and seeing how it's the only bike this tire is used on it's spendy, is looking for other tires that I can use I found this tire and it's a block type which it seems is a popular type tire to use on a sidecar rig so would you guys give me your thoughts on this.

It's a block tread but it's not a flat tread sidecar block like Avon and Michelin make.

Hi,

Another place to check out is "The DarkSide", http://mcdarksiders.forumotion.com/forum.htm . I believe your bike is listed on this page http://darkside.nwff.info/OEM2DS.htm . I will be taking my Kawasaki Vulcan/MotorVation Formula II to the darkside soon, I really like the idea of getting 20 to 40K on a car tire with more rubber on the road.

Cheers,

Santa

Your right,, it is listed, I've been bumping that site for some time but there's not much info on tires for a T, there kinda one of a kind BUT I did run across a rear tire I believe is going to work, I don't have it mounted yet so I don't know for sure, the biggest problem is clarence on the swing arm, the tire I got is from corker tire and it's a 525/530-16 and requires a 4 1/2 rim which is what I have, it's going to be interesting to find out.

I have heard of car tires on the back but I never saw one on the front. I am thinking of putting a car tire on the back of my rig too. My friend has one on his VTX on the rear
