I'm looking to find a setup for a sidecar to my son riding with me. My son has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and is wheelchair bound. As of now I borrow my friends Ural to take him for short rides. While the design of the Ural's sidecar is excellent for getting him in and out of the sidecar we can not take his power chair with us so he is basically stuck in the sidecar until we get home. My everyday ride is a 2013 Ultra Limited with the stock 103. I've seen some side cars that I can buy that are wheelchair accessible but uncertain if they could handle the weight of his chair (approximately 670 lbs). One thought I had was to buy a Ural and put a boom on the back of the sidecar to lift him in and out then put his chair on a trailer. Not sure which is the safest option here or if I'm missing another option. If anyone could help point me towards a viable option I would greatly appreciate it.
