Own '95 GL1500SE/CSC Friendship III rig. Was stored 3 years due to serious health issues.
Am attempting to fix everything; get trusty old outfit back on road this riding season.
Top front windshield attachment tube [into which rolled front edge of top is slid], has an
approx. 4" area warped outward. Was planning to try heat gun on area, to push tube
back into original shape. Has ANY CSC Friendship sidecar owner suffered similar problem
and. if YES, how did you accomplish your own repair? THANKS in advance for ANY advice.
TTFN & RIDE SAFE ALWAYS. ....Old Tom aka papasmurf in New Hampshire

P.S. If above repair is a bad idea, has anyone actually replaced the tube?

California used a really poor quality tube, not easy to do but we have replaced it with a tube made from aluminum.

Check with Sidecar Mark in FL. I've found him to be the expert of sorts on CSC sidecars and the resourcing of parts.
