Anti Sway Bar
Aloha,
Has anyone used one of these on their sidecar? They are supposed to make it a stable ride on rougher roads.

Pretty interesting. I'm no suspension expert and I haven't seen or tried the product but what handling deficiencies is it supposed to address? My understanding of automobile sway bars is that they are free to move (and allow the wheels to move freely) when both wheels hit a bump in unison but act like a torsion bar spring when a car leans in a corner or when one wheel hits a bump - kind of like selectively stiffening the suspension. Does this do the same thing for a rig? Is excessive body lean a common problem for hacks? Will this help keep the sidecar wheel planted on right handers (right side mount cars)?

Nostalgia' s nice but, nothing beats Performance.
Thanks for the link. It gives me something to think about. In the videos, it shows the off-side of the rig compressing when the rider pushes down on the seat. I wonder if the opposite is true too - when one wheel hits a bump, does the opposite side try to lift too? I can see how that would flatten out turns but the mechanics are bout opposite of what I figured.
