Air Shocks
What do you think, are air shocks a good idea?, any idea where to get some, if you are using them share your thoughts.

In 1988 I was about to buy a Kawa Z650 for touring with air shocks that adjusted themselves to the load (dampeing) and allways the same height after only driveing a few meter. That would be perfect specially for the sidecar!
TEcnically I am out in the middle of nowhere here in Costa Rica, so I cannot tell you what is up to date, but step into a Kawa shop and ask about these shocks and their followers.
To its time that bike was best cream in my eyes. Beside raceing machines put on public roads which became a fashion then.

I didn't make myself clear on this, in my head I knew what I was asking but you guys are not very good reading minds so let me clarify things, I want to us them on my bike, Honda shocks aren't noted for being all that good for very long, I just thought they would be a good solution to the loads put on the bike especially in right handers and wanted some input.

If possible (front swing) then I would use it arround. that will limit the right pull with load pretty much
Your right the Honda shocks generally go for just 35.000 to 45.000km, good quality like Koni goes for a lot much As I mentioned more than once. My Konis made over 105.000km and were still OK when I sold my old lady.
