I've noticed the new style wheel actually looks like it has a hub cap. I have the old style where the inner spokes are shorter than the outer - it is a drum brake model.
Do the new style wheels work with the old style? Are they interchangeable?

This is what we came up with. Same bearing is used in both. That is good! So it seems that the answer is YES they are are interchangeable.
