Oh and in response to the OP, yes, JIS screwdrivers are a miracle tool when it comes to Japanese screws (which I would hesitate to call a good screw.)

Pulled the trigger on a Shoei J Cruise  from Amazon =)

just tried a J Cruise II from Amazon, second one after the first proved to be a used helmet. Yes its comfortable but i need to remove glasses before fit and removal. My one concern at the moment is wind up and under the visor so chin and mouth get cold; wind seems to come from the side. The visor looks to be correctly fitted but i will have a second look and apply some silicone as per manual to see if this helps. Or do i have the wrong expectations as far as a visor is concerned?
