Does anyone know if you can run an oil cooler on an Harley EG with the lower sidecar mounts? I read the older posts here, but apart from running a remote filter, there was no new information {since 2006} I am trying to mount my Harley sidecar to a 103 Electra Glide 2007 model {need the oil cooler} thanks for any help!
I've got an '06 Ultra in the shop with an oil cooler. Unless the frames changed in '07 I don't see a problem.

well, the frame changed in 07 & again in09 [come to think of it i have seen NO sidecar info for 09....]
i tried everything and could not get the factory oil cooler to work on my 00 - and ive tried everything and cant get a factory oil cooler on the 07 either.
so far the only idea that looks like it might work would be a remote oil filter kit and hook the cooler to that.

A couple weeks back there was a H-D and sidecar on ebay, late model unit and the owner said then to buy used now cause there would not be any more built till 2010. I shared this with others and asked one fellow to verify this cause he has an inside track, but he never did get back to me. Maybe he will answer now.

Message must have gone to cyberspace. A couple weeks back there was an auction on ebay for a late H-D and sidecar combination. The owner stated to buy now cause the next production run will not be out till 2010. I sent this to others and especially to one fellow who seems to have an inside track when it comes to new things about H-D. He never did answer me but maybe he will come forward now.

The September Motor Cycle Industry magazine has news of the TriGlide introduction but nothing about curtailed sidecar production.

I'm running a Jagg oil cooler lower mount w/ the thermostat mount on the oil filter. mine is a 07 RK w/ a Liberty Sidecar. I had previously had a Jagg on a 04 Ultra w/ a HD sidecar.
Both fit w/ no issues.
