has anyone mounted a velorex 562 on a 1100 shadow. The universal frame clamps are to wide for any space available on frame.Should a subframe be built then attached seperatly. If so does anyone have pictures or diagrams showing subframe?. thanks 😮

Here are a couple.
Sometimes you may have to shave a U-clamp strap a bit or fabricate a small mount bracket or two or maybe bend a strut. There is no such thing as a one size fits all "Universal" mounting kit.

Yep No right leg here so not needed. I moved the brake to the left out side the shifter.

Richard,
With the Combat Veterans International Chapters, I've worked with several amputees and paraplegics. All have used prosthethics while riding and driving so the pegs were useful. Setting up their rigs sometimes involved using a snowboard binding to support a foot and keep it on the peg.

thanks for the great pictures guys, Richard with having the upper mounts so low is there any top stability issues. And I did notice the brake pedal missing. I am thinking about going with a subframe so I dont do any damage to the bike frame, and it should give a more solid mount. Any more pictures and ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again. Ps I probably should get the camera out for some before, during, and after pics 🙂

Sub frames are always good. You can get your mounting points where you want them. I have had this set up for 5 or 6 years and no problems. Everyone is different so every rig is a bit deferent.
Lonnie I used a prosthetic about 6 years out of the 35 plus year I have been missing my leg so have learned to live life well with out one.
PS Pic are always good keep us updated.
