I've got a new to me 83 Yamaha Venture that I'm considering adding a car to. Being new to hacks I would like recommendations as to the various cars I should couple with this bike.
Thanks in advance, Larry

You have a large heavy bike and need a large heavy sidecar. Whether open roadster or closed car is your choice. There are many to choose from, new or used. Your budget is the limiting factor.
Look at some of the rigs for sale on this site for examples, or vendors sites.

That depends on who the passenger is going to be.
For an example of needing a larger hack click below.

So Larry, what did you decide? I had considered, as you, adding one to my 86 Venture but bought a wing and s/c instead. Of course I still have the 86 Venture don't even ask.

It all boils down to the rather delicate question what size is your passenger? Sooo many times i'm told "she is a small person, only 5foot2",,,,,forces me to ask,,,but how wide? There are available sidecars to fit all size folks, very comfortably, don't make her force her way in and out of the hack. Mama ain't happy, nobodies happy.

I've got a CSC Friendship II on my '86 Venture. Seems to be a good size for the bike, and perfect for both my wife and (separate from her) my 3 and 4 year old to share. I managed to pick it up already put together.
